"Borrowed" is coming to a close...but don't forget to check out "Traveler"!

Synopsis:

Synopsis:

Elsie Kent is a neophyte to a brilliant young scientist, Dechlin Pierce, who has given a bad reputation to the concept of time travel. She, like many other visionaries, has formed a secret society. They are called Travelers. Only dreamers, they are watching closely under the nose of the inventor, Dechlin, for the first chance to take a step into the future. Elsie is the lowlier twin, with a tomboy edge. She waits patiently for her chance to prove to Dechlin that she is capable of being one of the first Travelers. However, her sister Eva makes the team, leaving Elsie emotionally hurt.
Dechlin preserves his true identity from the strictly governed city of London, controlled by his father Sterling Pierce. He fears for the Queen and his nation, because the Watchers, Sterling's scientists are an impending danger that will create dire consequences. In order to prove that this could decimate his country, he sends him and his first team to the future.

But they never return.
Dechlin’s time travel journey’s the Travelers 53 years into the future, accidently forwarding them into the Wild West of America, 1890. It's discovered that the Watchers have plagued more than just London.

When they gather to return to 1837, London, their journey plunges them further back in time.

Elsie is swept into the mess of the travel efforts, when she secretly boarded with the Traveler’s. Now she must face challenges she never thought imaginable. She discovers America, the Wild West, and outlaws, as well as gadgeteers clashing with gunslingers. But her biggest discovery is the desolate lands and monstrosities roaming freely. Journey back in time and find out the fate of our Traveler.

One Year Ago...

It's amazing, thinking back just to one year ago. I was so new to writing stories. Before, I had just dabbled in fan fiction when I got bored. A few years ago, I thought I would become a journalist. I'm glad I decided not to. Storytelling is by far more compelling and enjoyable. I've had no training with creative writing other than self taught, and browsing the internet. Storywrite and the group I'm a member of, Inkception, has some wonderful people in it that have really pushed me toward improving my writing skills. I owe it to them to say, thank you.

Writing is still, and probably forever, will always be a learning process. I found that being an avid reader over the years has helped with my creativity and trying different styles of writing. Finally, I think I've find my niche.

I just want to say that I hope all us novice writers do not give up on our passion of writing stories. No matter how well you write or how well your grammar is. It could be bad, and it could be great. Regardless, do what you love to do.

Write for you first.

Easter Weekend

Yes! So far this weekend has been somewhat successful. I had the opportunity to rewrite chapter six for "The Turned". Also, I'm starting on chapter six for "Borrowed". There are so many things I want to accomplish over the next few months with my writings. I also want to bring out from the dust a few story plots I put aside such as:

Sea of Secrets

Taken by Storm

Phantasmagoria

Break away

Yep, these are all titles to books I want to write, or finish writing.

Stay tuned!

Okay, today's entry is going to be a bit of a rant...

The moment I woke up, I knew today was going to be a bad day. Even though the sun is shining and the birds are chirping, I'm a grump. I want to write, so badly. There are so many things in life that get in the way of the one thing I truly love doing and that is writing. If I could just write everyday (which I do) then life would be good. Today, however, I'm not sure if I will be able to rewrite chapter six to "The Turned" or write chapter six for "Borrowed". (Inserts sad face). Hopefully I can get a bit of time this weekend before Easter sunday to get those chapters out.

Le sigh...
